Interviews today!!

So, today I somehow managed to have two interviews. One for a catering company and another for a pet hospital. Couldn't be more different industries then that.
I just finished one interview (the one with the catering company), and it was not what I expected. The interviewer was really nice and laid back and just wanted to know when I was available and so forth. However, there were like a billion other people there, all seemed to have previous food handling experience...which I don't unless you count my adventures in my own kitchen. I don't think cooking for yourself or for your own parties counts as experience per ce. But I did manage to tell him about my super awesome misu ramen soup I made this weekend.
UUUUUUUhhh....that was so me guuuuud stuff I tell ya, and the pot stickers were delicious. I was so happy and surprised at how well it came out, especially since that was the first time I had made the pot stickers.
Also, I came up with a great appetizer: sticky rice wrapped in teriyaki flavored nori, dipped in a sauce made with sesame oil, chili oil, soy sauce and a bit of white wine vinegar. Everyone loved it, even the ones who couldn't eat the nori by itself loved it this way. I call it the poor man's sushi, since it taste like a good sushi roll but cost less and doesn't have all the expensive fish in it.
After this weekend I have become inspired in my cooking. Trying new ideas and experimenting.
I've always kept to the traditional recipes for regular unexciting meat and veggies, but now....now things will get really exciting.

Hi,

I recently read your post about CMISP. I was wondering if you'd like to be interviewed about your experiences with Sacramento County and thier CMISP program. I used to have CMISP too and I'm considering a project to explore the problems with their policies and procedures. It would be great if you are interested in participating. Email me at izagater@hotmail.com. Thanks.
