Another day...no job.

I just finished 4 online applications to some major US stores and I am ready to tear my hair out. People should be paid just for completing them. It takes about 30-45 minutes per application. The last part to each and every one of them is a barrage of questions aimed at trying to figure out what kind of person you are. Basically, they want to know if you are going to steal from them. RIDICULOUS! I feel like I've been in a 4 hour shrink session, or as Icelanders call it, examining my own navel.
My brain is numb right now. The worst part with these questions is that many of them are very unfair and unrealistic. The expect you to be able to answere all questions with strongly disagree, disagree, agree, strongly agree. There is no middle ground or an option of I don't know or i couldn't care less. They force you to answer either or. NOT ALL QUESTIONS CAN BE ANSWERED WITH YES OR NO YOU NITWITS! I don't know what moron came up with those questionnaires (must be the same one since they all had the same or similar questions) but they really need to take a statistics class and some logic classes so they can come up with a better more fair way to determine someones personality.
So can you tell I'm a little annoyed?
I wonder if these test even work. They forgot one factor...some people lie, especially the kind of people they are trying to avoid hiring. How can they determine who is lying and who is not? Especially with some of the ambiguous questions they ask.
